Govt announces winter vacations in phased manner from December 05

Press Trust Of Kashmir Srinagar Nov 25:- The School Education Department has decided to announce the closure of schools in a phased manner in Kashmir and winter zones of Jammu division from December-05 to 19

As per order for primary level classes upto 5th standard, the vacations will be from December-05, for 6th to 8th standard, the closure of schools for winter vacations will be from December-12 and in case of secondary and senior secondary level students, vacation will be from December-19.

Order further ordered that the teaching staff of High and Higher Secondary Schools shall report back to their respective schools on 20th February, 2023, so that they remain available for making arrangements regarding preparation of ensuing examinations.

“All teachers shall remain available on demand for any online guidance of students during vacation period and any default on part of the Head of the Schools/Teaching staff in observance of the above schedule shall attract strict action under Rules.” Order adds further.
