Goons beat Kashmiri driver, cleaner in Pathankot

Press Trust of Kashmir | PATHANKOT : A Kashmiri driver and cleaner were beaten in Pathankot on Tuesday evening.

Mohammad Aabid Bhat a resident of Kanelwan area of Bijbehara in Anantnag district said that on Tuesday evening they were changing tyre of their truck as it has got punctured when some goons came and demanded money.

After we refused to pay them money as we were having few hundreds in our pocket, they started thrashing us and also damaged mirrors of our truck, he said.

He said somehow we managed to contact police who reached to the spot but till then goons had left the spot.

They requested concerned authorities to look into the matter and take strict action against the involved goons so that such incidents won’t happen again.(PTK).
