Girl allegedly commits suicide in Bandipora

Bandipora, Mar 08(PTK): 17-year old girl on Sunday morning committed suicide after consuming some poisonous substance at her home in Bandipora village of northern district of Kashmir.

Officials told, that the girl (name with held), resident of Ajas village of Bandipora after consuming some poisonous substance at home was immediately rushed to a local hospital for treatment where from she was referred to Community Health Centre Sumbal.

However, doctors at the heath centre Sumbal declared her brought dead. “The reason for the suicide was not immediately known,” an official told.

A police offical confirmed the incident and said they are investigating the incident.(PTK)
