GANDERBAL POLICE ESTABLISHED A HELP LINE FOR ELDERLY COMMUNITY MEMBERS OF THE AREA.

GANDERBAL 02 April:(PTK)- Ganderbal Police has established a Help Line for the elderly community members & other needy persons residing in the District.

In view of the Pandemic COVID-19 due to which restrictions exist on the movement of the person, so in order to facilitate the delivery of food items, Medicines & supplying of other necessary items, a special Helpline No: 9622571163 has been specifically dedicated for the purpose by District Police Ganderbal to cater to the needs of senior citizens.

Senior citizens and other community members can contact on above Helpline No either by calling or on WhatsApp. This helpline will facilitate the delivery of requisitioned items at their door step.

District Police will also facilitate the transportation of senior community members to the nearest Health Centre as and when required.

This is part of our efforts to ensure that community members are not forced to make unnecessary movements in view of the pandemic COVID-19 and supply them with essential at their door step. We request our community members to stay safe and limit their movements outside their homes so as to break the chain. Together we shall overcome.(ptk)
