Four Members of Jammu Family Killed in Road Accident in Tanda

Hoshiarpur, June 29 : In a tragic incident, four members of a family, including a six-year-old girl, lost their lives in a road accident near Adda Saran in Tanda subdivision of Hoshiarpur district on Saturday morning. The collision involved a Toyota Innova and a canter truck.
Police identified the deceased as Farooq, his brother Arif, sister Naibu, and daughter Arsh, all residents of Jammu. They were on their way to Chandigarh when the accident occurred. The driver of the Innova, Tarris, sustained serious injuries and was initially admitted to Tanda Civil Hospital before being referred to Amritsar for further treatment.
The canter driver fled the scene immediately after the accident. The bodies of the victims were sent to Dasuya Civil Hospital and Rangi Ram Charitable Hospital in Tanda.
Tanda Station House Officer Gurmeet Singh stated that the police had traced the canter truck to Baddi in Himachal Pradesh and assured that the driver would be arrested soon.
