Press trust of Kashmir | Srinagar : Today Food safety Department (FDA) celebrated world Food Safety Day at Girls Higher Secondary school Budgam, an Awearnenss on food safety was imparted to the students .
World food safety is celebrated through out wold on 7th June
Every month and the the theme of event was Safe Food Better Health, Day is celebrated globally on June 7th every year as per the World Health Organization (WHO). This year, it falls on Tuesday.

World Food Safety Day 2022 Theme:

The World Health Organization (WHO) announced the theme of World Food Safety Day in March. This year, the theme is ‘Safer food, better health’. The department of Food safety ( Drug and Food control org JK UT) launched a campaign to inspiring student to have knowledge on safe food better health concept.

World Food Safety Day aims to transform food systems to deliver better health sustainably and prevent foodborne diseases. This day also provides an opportunity to strengthen efforts to ensure that the food we eat is safe and reduce the burden of foodborne illnesses globally.
