DC reviews pace of ongoing work
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR RAJOURI, NOVEMBER 11: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting to review the progress on Eklavya Model Residential School Building coming up at Gurdhan Balla.
It was informed that the academic block and Principal’s residence of the project would be completed by January 2023. The academic block has the capacity of accommodating 480 students.

The DDC said that Eklavya Model Residential School is an ambitious initiative of the Government of India to facilitate the tribal students to get quality education and to enable them to compete with the students of the rest of the country.
It was informed that at present the class work of EMRS is being conducted in the DYYSO building.
Officers present in the meeting were CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt; ExEn Housing Board, Tilaq Raj and other concerned officers.
