Driver Dead, Three Injured in Budgam Road Accident

Srinagar, April 4 (PTK) A tragic road accident in Budgam district claimed the life of a driver and left three others injured on Friday. The accident occurred at the Parnewa-Kulbugh general road when an Alto car collided with a Tavera vehicle.

According to officials, the impact of the collision resulted in severe injuries to the Alto driver and three passengers traveling in the Tavera. Local residents and passersby rushed to the scene to assist the victims before emergency services arrived.

The injured were immediately shifted to District Hospital Budgam for treatment. However, doctors declared the Alto driver, identified as Zeeshan Ashraf, son of Mohd Ashraf, a resident of Tokerpora Budgam, brought dead. The condition of the other injured persons remains unknown at this time.

Authorities have taken cognizance of the incident, and a police team has been deputed to the spot to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident. Further details are awaited as the investigation progresses.
