Dr. Farooq Abdullah chairs workers’ meeting in Dooru

Srinagar, 24 Jun(PTK): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah Tuesday chaired a one-day workers meeting in Dooru Shahabad.

 

 

 

The interactive session in which Dr Farooq listetend to party workers and delegates, was organized by Provincial Secretary Syed Tawqeer Ahmad.

 

 

 

Hon’ble Health and Medical Education Minister Sakina Itoo, Provincial President Showkat Mir, Hon’ble MLA’s Hasnain Masoodi, Altaf Ahmad Wani, Choudhary Zafar Ali Khatana, along with District, Block & Halqa functionaries and District Development Council (DDC) members also attended the meeting.

 

 

 

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Farooq Abdullah lauded the initiatives of the Omar Abdullah-led cabinet in ensuring road connectivity and health infrastructure across South Kashmir.

 

 

 

On the occasion, he reiterated the urgent need for the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood, stating that it is essential for accelerating regional development and ensuring effective governance.

 

 

 

He also urged party functionaries to maintain active engagement with the people at the grassroots level, ensuring their concerns are heard and addressed effectively.

 

 

 

The session also focused on pressing public issues and strategies to strengthen the party at grassroots level with functionaries reaffirming their commitment to the welfare of the people and the party’s mission. (PTK)
