Dr. Ahangar Gets Extension As Director SKIMS:- Sources

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar: The outgoing Director of Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) A.G. Ahangar on Saturday gets further extension in his service who was set to get retired today.

Dr Ahangar who os one of the top open heart surgeons from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has got further extension.

However, it wasn’t known yet for how much period he has got the extension.

Ahangar was set to retire this week.

Pertinently Dr Ahangar has completed over a dozen mega projects of the medical institution, besides taking several steps to strengthen the institute in its fight against Covid-19.

Earlier many Senior medicos have demanded extension in his tenure due to the prevailing situation in Covid-19.(PTK)
