Doctors protest in Keller, demand action against the person who misbehaved with doctor
Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar : Strike hitted sub District hospital Keller shopian as medical staff and doctors protest against the local whi allegedly misbehaved with doctor.
The attendents had said that a doctor didn’t attended a pregnent lady after which they started shouting.
Sources said that on Thursday evening a pregnent lqdy went for general check up as the attendents informed the doctor that she can’t go up, however, doctor requested them to wait as the doctor was looking to Surgery patients at that time.
In the meantime few persons appeared and started abusing the doctor and were trying to get involve in physical assault, they said.
Today early in the morning all the staff and doctors went for strike and dmanded stern action against the men who abused the doctors.
All allegations of the men attending the lady are totaly baseless as the medical staff and doctors are accomodating all in a meticulous manner, said BMO.
He said that FIR has been registered against the person who abused the doctor without any reason.
Soon after the strike, tehsildar Keller and station house officer reached to the hospital and pacified the doctors and assured them that proper action will be taken against those who are involved in the crime
It is mention worth here that the Sub district hospital Keller has done a tremendous job in covid and especially in this winter as many surgeries havs been performed by the doctors there.:-PTK.
