DISTRICT POLICE RECOVERED KIDNAPPED GIRL AND ARRESTED THE KIDNAPPER

Kulgam : May 05,(PTK):istrict Police Kulgam recovered the girl who was kidnapped and arrested the person involved in committing the crime.

Police Station Manzgam on 19.07.2020 received a written complaint for assistance from a complainant stating that his daughter (name withheld) had been kidnapped by one person namely Imran Gorsi @Abrar S/O Mir Mohammad Gorsi R/O Yarikha DH Pora.

In this connection a Case with FIR No. 34/2021 U/S 366, 109 IPC was registered in Police Station Manzgam and investigation was initiated. Accordingly, a team headed by SHO Manzgam Insp. Salinder Singh under the supervision of SDPO DH Pora Shri. Shabir Ahmad was constituted to trace out the kidnapped girl and to nab the culprit.

Utilizing all available means, a specific information was generated by the investigating team and during the night intervening between 4/5 May, 2021the girl was recovered and the kidnapper was arrested from Yarikha DH Pora Kulgam.

After fulfilling all medico-legal formalities, the girl will be handed over to her legal heirs and further investigation of the case is in progress._PTK
