DGP decorates newly promoted DySsP, a Sub Inspector
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR Jammu, July 29: The Director General of Police, J&K, Shri Dilbag Singh decorated newly promoted DySsP and a Sub Inspector who were recently promoted to the present rank, at PHQ Jammu.
ADGP Jammu, Shri Mukesh Singh, IGP Traffic, J&K, Shri Vikramjit Singh, DIG, JSK Range Shri Vivek Gupta DPT, J&K Shri Shridhar Patil were present on the occasion.
The DySsP who were decorated with ranks included Shri Lekh Raj, Neeraj Sarna, Adil Rashid, Devinder Gupta, Neeraj Kumar, Ashok Kumar and Kuldeep Raj. The DGP also decorated Sandeep Sharma with Sub Inspector rank.
On the occasion, DGP J&K congratulated the officers and their families and impressed upon them to work with more dedication for the people and department.

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR Jammu, July 29: The Director General of Police, Shri Dilbag Singh has sanctioned cash rewards along with commendation certificate in favour of Sushant Kumar son of a Police Assistant Sub Inspector for securing 99.6% marks in class 12th Exam, besides he has also sanctioned cash reward in favour of a policeman and an SPO for rescuing school students/staff.
Under an order the DGP has sanctioned Rs 20000 along with a commendation certificate in favour of Shri Sushant Kumar son of Shri Subash Chander, a Police Assistant Sub Inspector for securing 99.6% marks in class 12th Exam. This is in addition to the meritorious scholarship Police headquarters has been sanctioning to the wards of serving/ martyr Police personnel, SPOs.
Under another order, the DGP has sanctioned a cash reward of Rupees five thousand each along with commendation certificates in favour of Sgct. Raman Dayal and SPO Sham Lal for showing the highest sense of commitment and courage for rescuing the students/staff of Government Middle School. Udhaywalla during the flash floods in Patta Bohri yesterday.
