Department of Fisheries conduct special sale of fish on Mahashivratri

SRINAGAR, FEB 20:(PTK) The Department of Fisheries conducted a special sale of fish on the occasion of Mahashivratri festival in Srinagar.

 The main purpose of the sale of fish through department is to provide fresh fish in hygienic condition to the people. Fresh Fishes from several Fish Farms were transported early morning through refrigerated vans to the places identified for the sale of fish in Srinagar.

Senior Sales Manager (Marketting) Department of Fisheries Sajad Hussain said that more than 2.5 quintals of Fish were sold in two days at different sale counters including two sale centres at Hari Singh High Street and Gagribal besides Mobile Sale centres at Habakadal, Ganpatyar, Rajbagh and several locations in old city.
