DDC Chairperson Ramban attends e-inaugural function of School building at Batote
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR RAMBAN, AUGUST 10: Chairperson, District Development Council, Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan attended the e-inauguration of newly constructed building of Government Model Higher Secondary School, Batote by the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
The LG e- inaugurated several buildings including the new school building of the Government Model Higher Secondary School Batote.
DDC Councilor Batote Jagveer Dass; Chief Education Officer, Ramban, Devanand; MC Councilors, PRIs and a large number of locals were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, she said that education was the primary requirement for the development and prosperity of any nation. “The Education sector has been tagged as the top priority by the J&K government as well as the District Development Council with the aim to universalize education, especially in rural and hilly areas” the DDC Chairperson added.
During interaction with staff and students, the Chairperson directed the CEO to ensure that the school building was equipped with all basic amenities and modern educational infrastructure.
