DDC Anantnag visits Brariangan, Shangus
Takes stock of progress of developmental activities; listened to Grievances
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR ANANTNAG, AUGUST 09: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Anantnag, Dr. Piyush Singla today visited Brariangan, Shangus and took stock of developmental activities under RDD sector.
The DDC also visited Uma Bhagwati Temple, located in the Village on request of newly elected Body of the Trust represented by MK Khar and PN Koul.
A large gathering if the locals were present on the occasion alongwith concerned Tehsildar, BDO and SHO.
BDC Chairperson apprised DDC of various issues and requirements of the area.

Dr Singla discussed threadbare developmental matters of the Temple and took review of developmental activities under execution in Temple and instructed for early completion of these works.
It was informed that six works have been taken up by the Rural Development Department under 14th FC and Capex and are nearing completion.
The DDC also met locals of the village and listened to their grievances and assured action for early resolution of grievances and matters of public importance.
