DC Shreya Singhal Conducts Comprehensive Visit to District Hospital Ganderbal, Reviews Healthcare Facilities Ahead of Winter

GANDERBAL, OCTOBER 17(PTK): Soon after assuming charge as Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shreya Singhal, IAS, today conducted her first comprehensive visit to District Hospital Ganderbal to review the functioning of various departments and wards and assess the healthcare facilities being provided to patients.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected various hospital departments and wards, interacted with patients and their attendants, and enquired about the quality of treatment, availability of medicines and other essential healthcare services. She also interacted with doctors and hospital staff to assess the functioning of the institution and identify areas requiring attention.
With winter approaching, the As per Maqsad news,Deputy Commissioner directed the hospital management to ensure adequate arrangements for the winter season sop that patients do not face any inconvenience in accessing medical services. She stressed the need for maintaining essential medical supplies, ensuring the proper functioning of hospital facilities and strengthening patient care, particularly during the challenging winter months.
She emphasised that providing quality healthcare services to the public must remain the top priority and instructed the concerned authorities to ensure that patients receive timely treatment and all necessary medical facilities.
The Deputy Commissioner also underscored the importance of coordination among hospital departments and directed the management to remain responsive to the needs and concerns of patients.
The visit was aimed at reviewing the hospital’s overall functioning and ensuring better healthcare delivery for the people of Ganderbal, particularly in view of the anticipated challenges during winter.(PTK)
