DC Ramban conducts surprise visit to DH, takes stock of health care facilities
Inspects attendance in government offices
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR RAMBAN, DECEMBER 24: Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam, today conducted a surprise visit to the District Hospital and took stock of health facilities being provided to patients, He also inspected the functioning of different Government offices.
The Deputy Commissioner went around the wards and interacted with the patients and attendants. He advised them to wear facemasks to stay safe from Covid-19 infection. He directed the Hospital Administration to take all necessary precautions in view of fresh Covid-19 threat.
The Deputy Commissioner also checked the duty roster of the doctors and paramedical staff. He passed directions to officers to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the Hospital and provide all medical facilities to OPD & IPD patients in a hassle-free manner.
The Medical Officer on duty informed the Deputy Commissioner about the availability of stock of medicines, ambulances, the status of vaccination and Covid tests.

Reviewing the implementation of the PM-JAY-SEHAT scheme, the DC directed the hospital administration to ensure the registration of all the people to provide them benefits of the universal health insurance scheme.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner also inspected various Government Offices including REW, Agriculture, Social welfare, Fisheries, and Handloom to check the attendance of employees and directed the officers to ensure punctuality in the offices and delivery of effective public services.
The Deputy Commissioner also inspected the status of biometric attendance in the offices and directed to ensure biometric attendance of all the employees without fail.
