DC Pulwama releases 5 Publication Digests
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR PULWAMA, OCTOBER 11: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Pulwama, Baseer Ul Haq Choudhary today released five vital publications highlighting the socio-economic profile of Pulwama District and one Report on Tribal survey 2021 which provides insights about the life of nomadic population in the district.
The publications released include District Statistical Hand Book, District at a Glance, Economic Review and Village Amenity for the year 2020-21 besides Tribal Survey Report 2021.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Chief Planning Officer Pulwama, District Statistics & Evaluation Officer Pulwama, Lead District Manager Pulwama and Assistant Labour Commissioner Pulwama were present at the event.
District Statistics and Evaluation Office Pulwama is the Nodal Agency for collection, compilation and dissemination of important statistical data in the district.

The data contained in these publications and report serve as an important tool for the Govt/District Administration, researchers, Planners, students, youth and other stakeholders in and outside Union Territory for formulation of plan strategies, publication of research articles, reports etc, which is vital in identifying the critical gaps and priority areas for key Government interventions in the next 25years.
After releasing the publications, the DC appreciated the sincere efforts put in by DSEO Pulwama and his staff for compiling and bringing out these publications and stressed on improvement of these publications in future by regular updation and wide coverage .
He also highlighted the findings of the Tribal survey and pointed out the suggestions/recommendations for consideration of various departments for better implementation of schemes in the Tribal areas.
