DC Kulgam reviews functioning of ICDS, implementation of Poshan Abhiyan
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR KULGAM, SEPTEMBER 09: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal-Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today chaired a meeting of officers to review functioning of ICDS and progress, achievements made in implementation of various Poshan Abhiyan schemes.
DPO Kulgam, Sandeep Singh Bali apprised the chair that there are 1206 functional Anganwadi centers in the district.
The DC also took a comprehensive review of POSHAN Schemes.

DPO also informed the meeting that the field functionaries of ICDS are proactively involved in awareness activities under Nasha Mukt Bharat campaign.
Later, a convergence plan for construction of 07 approved Anganwadi centers was discussed and approved in the meeting.
The meeting was attended by DPO, JD-Planning, ACD, DSWO, CMO and other officers.
