DC Kathua reviews progress of work on PHE sector Schemes
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR KATHUA, DECEMBER 26: Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rahul Pandey today chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress achieved under the PHE sector including implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission in the district.
At the outset, Superintendent Engineer Hydraulic Sanjeev Malhotra, apprised the Deputy Commissioner about the latest financial and physical progress achieved under Jal Jeevan Mission in the district.

While reviewing the physical and financial progress of PHE sector schemes under District CAPEX, Languishing, DDC, BDC and PRI grants etc, the DC directed the concerned to achieve financial progress within the set timeline. He called upon the engineers to speed up the works so as to rule out any chance of carrying forward any financial liabilities.
The DC also took a detailed review of all ongoing projects under Ground Water, Irrigation, and Flood Control and laid thrust on completing all projects within the stipulated time frame.
