Finalizes SoF for Agriculture & allied sectors
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR GANDERBAL, NOVEMBER 24: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today chaired a meeting of District Level Technical Committee (DLTC) for Fixing Scale of Finance (SOF) for the year 2023-24 of different Agriculture and Horticulture Crops at DC Office, here.
During the meeting, threadbare discussion was held on all related aspects of each line department with regard to the finalization of scale of finance as per the cost of cultivation for all the KCC Crops including Horticulture Crops, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Floriculture Activities in the district to extend the KCC facility to the farmers.
After having detailed discussion on Existing and Proposed Scale of Finance (SOF) for various KCC Crops and Allied Activities, the DLTC finalized Scale of Finance of different Agriculture and Horticulture Crops for Kissan Credit Card (KCC) holders of the district under different crops, Plantation (Sericulture, Floriculture), Animal/ Sheep Husbandry, Poultry, Fisheries and other allied sectors for the year 2023-24.

While interacting with the officers, the DC urged upon all stake holders for close coordination to ensure adequate and timely credit flow to the farmers which shall create employment opportunities in the district through Agricultural Entrepreneur activities.
Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Assistant Director Fisheries, District Floriculture Officer, Chief Manager JKSC bank and representatives from SKUAST were present in the meeting.
