DC Bandipora suspends Clerk after complaint of demanding bribe

Bandipora, Feb 17(PTK) : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora has suspended a Junior Assistant from Social Welfare department Bandipora presently posted at Bal-Ashram Bandipora following a complaint by old man  that he demanded bribe to get his old age form approved from higher authorities.

The Junior Assistant from Department of Social Welfare Bandipora was suspended yesterday after an old man complained that the official demanded bribe from him.

Dated:14-02’2020 suspended junior Assistant and attached him to the office of Joint Director Planning office Bandipora.

Earlier, a man had filed a complaint before Deputy Commissioner Bandipora claiming that the Junior Assistant identified as Mohammad Shafi Teeli, has demanded bribe from him to get his old age form approved,”.

Following the complaint, the official was placed under suspension.

“The official has been placed under suspension while the investigation has been started in this regard,” the official said.(PTK)
