DC Bandipora inaugurates Cradle Baby Reception Centre
CBRC is first if its kind in North Kashmir: Dr. Owais
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR BANDIPORA, AUGUST 23: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahamed on Tuesday inaugurated Cradle Baby Reception Centre (CBRC) and Child Care Institute for girls at Harmukh Colony Sonerwani, here.
The inaugural function was attended by DPO ICDS Bandipora, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak; DSWO/DCPO Bandipora, Officials of Child Protection Unit Bandipora and CBRC.
The CBRC is established under mission Vatsalya and is first of its kind to be set up across North Kashmir. The centre will cater to a number of districts including Bandipora, Baramulla and Kupwara.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC Congratulated the concerned for commendable services in establishing the centre in Bandipora District.
He said the cradle centre is meant for babies who are devoid of parental care like orphans, abandoned etc.
He said the centre will provide all services to the children including food, accommodation and medical facilities besides other essentials.
