Covid-19 claims lives of 6 more patients in J&K, toll reaches 242
SRINAGAR JULY (KNO)Six more patients who were tested positive for Covid-19 have died in J&K, taking the toll of deaths relates to Covid-19 to 242.
Officials said that patients who died include 80 year old female from Rainawari Srinagar, 59 year old Male from Turkawangan Shopian, 84 year old male from Kanispora Baramulla, 50 year old female from Rajouri, 75 year old female from Tumulahal Pulwama and 70 year male from Bunglow Bagh Baramulla.
An official said that 84 woman from Baramulla who was admitted on 16 July died at SKIMS on Saturday late night.
He said that two patients including 80 year old woman from Rainawari Srinagar and 59 year old male from Turkawangan died at CD hospital.
An official from Rajouri said that a 50- year-old diabetic patient who had tested positive for COVID-19 passed away at Government Medical College Jammu this morning.
An official from SMHS said that 75 year female from Tumluhal Pulwama who was suffering from many ailments died at SMHS on Sunday.
An official from GMC Baramulla said that a 70 year old male patient who was suffering from some ailments died at GMC Baramulla on Sunday.
With six more deaths, the death toll related to Covid-19 has reached to 242 including 223 from Kashmir and 19 from Jammu.(KNO)
