Covid-19:- 70 year old man from Shopian dies at SMHS, toll rises to 28

SRINAGAR MAY (PTK) A 70 year old man from Baghandar area of Shopian who died at SHMS on Thursday was tested positive for covid-19 on Friday.

Dr Salim Khan Nodal officer for covid-19 at GMC Srinagar said that 70 year old male from Aliarpora, Bagander
Shopian admitted on 27-05-2020 as pneumonia with underlying hypertension and diabetes mellitus.

He said that patient died on Thursday evening and on friday his sample reports came positive.

With his death, the death toll of covid-19 patients in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to 28 including 25 from Kashmir division and 03 from Jammu division
