Covid-19:- 65 year old patient from Batamallo dies at SMHS hospital, toll reaches 36

SRINAGAR  JUNE(PTK)With the death of 65 year old lady from Batamalloba area of Srinagar, the death toll in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory has reached to 36 including 32 from Kashmir division and four from Jammu division.

An official said that a 65 year old lady from Batamallo was brought to SMHS on Thursday morning and she was having underlying ailments including pneumonia and died later.

Her samples returned positive for Covid-19 late last night, he said.

The 36 deaths include 5 from Anantnag, 4 from Kulgam, 9 from Srinagar, 7 from Baramulla, 3 from Shopian, 2 from Budgam and one each from Kupwara and Bandipora in Kashmir and two from Jammu and one each from Udhampur and Doda in Jammu division.(PTK)
