Country concerns over current situation of J&K: Mayawati
SRINAGAR, (PTK): Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Sunday said that while the country remains concerned over the current situation in Jammu and Kashmir, BJP leaders were trying to hide their failures.
Mayawati said that “The entire nation is concerned over the current situation after attacks in Jammu and Kashmir”.
“It’s not hidden from the people how BJP and the PM are trying to hide their failures under the garb of what is happening in J&K,” Mayawati said in Lucknow,” she said.
Calling it a “betrayal of national sentiments”, Mayawati had tweeted, “At a time when India is facing hostility of war, PM Narendra Modi instead of concentrating on the matters of national security trying to serve political interest by addressing his BJP workers is ridiculous besides betrayal of national sentiments.”
After the attacked a CRPF convoy in Pulwama, BSP chief Mayawati had condemned and said, “Our party strongly condemns the Pulwama attack and offers deepest condolences to the families of the soldiers who lost their lives. We appeal to the central government to find a lasting solution to this problem.” (PTK)
