PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR GANDERBAL, NOVEMBER 26: The District Administration Ganderbal today celebrated Constitution Day with Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir reading out the preamble of the constitution and administering oath to all the participants to uphold the fundamental duties here at Conference Hall of Mini Secretariat Ganderbal.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Mehraj-ud-Din Shah, CPO and other senior officers besides PRI members were present on the occasion.

The DC on the occasion explained in detail about need for the constitution, History of constitution, Role of Judiciary in Constitution, Procedure for amending constitution, Basic rights and responsibilities of Indian citizen as per our constitution, Preamble of constitution and other aspects of constitution.
Similar functions were held in Sub Division Kangan and in all Government offices and all Government Degree Colleges and Schools across the district.
