Congress wins 10 wards in Kokernag

Srinagar, (PTK):  Congress party has won 10 out of total 13 wards of Kokernag municipal committee elections in the on-going local body elections.

Officials told PTK that Congress has won in 10, while the independent candidates have secured 2.

The polling was held in only four wards of the Kokernag constituency, while eight candidates were elected unopposed. One ward had no nomination.
