Conductor killed, driver injured in Dobjan road mishap

Press Trust of Kashmir | Shopain : A conductor of oil tanker was killed and driver was seriously injured when their vehicle fell into a deep gorge near Mughal Road in Shopian district of south Kashmir on Sunday afternoon.

An official said that driver overtook the vehicle registration number JK-01R 3898, due to which it falled into a deep gorge.

He said that in this incident, Neeraj Singh son of Gilari Kumar died on the spot and driver Bhod Raj son of Mohan Chand was seriously injured.

He said that both are said to be residents of Doda district.

He added that the injured driver was rushed to Shopian District Hospital from where he was referred to a hospital in Srinagar in critical condition.
