CID official killed in Srinagar

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar : A CID official was shot dead by the unidentified gunmen at Nowgam area in Srinagar outskirts on Tuesday evening.

An official said that a CID inspector identified as Parvez Ahmad Dar of B K Pora in Nowgam was fired upon by the suspected militants.

He said that policeman was immediately rushed to SMHS hospital in Srinagar where he was declared brought dead.

An official from SMHS said that Cop was brought dead to the hospital.(PTK)
