Children day celebrated by Indian army with the childrens of Kupwara

 

Press Trust of Kashmir | Kupwara :Children day was celebrated today at Govt Boys Upper Primary School, Hayan A. Around 100 boys & girls upto the age of 12 participated in the celebrations during which they played fun games like Throwing of Rings, Ball in a Bucket, Kicking Football through a tire, eating tied up Jalebis without using their hands etc. Girls also gave a Kashmiri folk Dance and a Haryanvi Dance performance. 3 Kids gave a speech on Children’s day and Salik Tariq of Trehgam gave a karate demo for everyone. At the end all programme the all the kids who performed on the occasion were felicitated and tea and snacks were served to all.

Army also provided refreshments and gifts to children of Madrassa Nusratul Uloom at Halmatpora.

A series of games were also organised in which the children participated with full excitement and fervour. The event not only brought awareness to the children but also provided a casual change to the routine of the curriculum followed at the Madrassa.
