Career counseling and employment mela organised by Indian army at manigam area of ganderbal district

PRESS TRUST Of KASHMIR | Ganderbal :To motivate and guide the youth of Ganderbal district and inform them about career opportunities with the Army, the 34 Assam Rifles Wussan Camp organised a career counselling and employment mela at Govt Boys higher secondary School Manigam on Sunday.
During the counselling session, students were informed about the career opportunities in the army and other fields
With an aim to actively engage the youth of Ganderbal District of the valley and to provide them with good job opportunities, Anderwan COB of Wussan Battalion organized a *Career Counselling and Employment Mela* at Government Higher Secondary School, Manigam on 19th September 2021.
The event saw a good footfall of 213 individuals including 57 females. The event was open to youth who were standard 12th pass, as well as, undergraduates and postgraduates. Recruiters from various fields like banking (SBI), insurance (MaxLife, LIC), agriculture, horticulture, fisheries departments and automobile industry (BOSCH Master Mechanics) were present to recruit fresh talent.
The event was also utilized by both, boys and girls, to fill up online application forms for recruitment for various openings in Assam Rifles. A total of 61 individuals have volunteered for recruitment.
The initiative was appreciated by the youth and shall go a long way towards nation building. Special adherence to COVID protocols was ensured during the conduct of the event.(PTK).
