BSF officer dies in Srinagar

Srinagar September 26 (PTK) An officer of the Border Security Force officer died after collapsing on the road in Srinagar district on Saturday morning.

An official while confirming the incident said that a BSF man Hayat Singh collapsed on the road during patrolling duty in Raj Bhawan area of Kashmir’s summer capital, Srinagar.

The officer was shifted to Unit Headquarters at Pantha Chowk Srinagar, where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.

The deceased BSF officer was posted with the 163 Battalion, C Company of Border Security Force, stationed at Raj Bhawan area of Srinagar.(PTK)
