Blood donation camp held by BJYM at LD Hospital

Srinagar, Sep 21 (PTK) Under the party’s ongoing week long programmes of ‘Seva Saptah’ being organized in connection with the birthday of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Kashmir BJP held a blood donation camp at Lal Ded Hospital, Srinagar.

BJP Spokesperson Altaf Takur , Asif Masoodi , Bilal Ahmed Parray, Waseem Raja & some volunteers of youth wing donated blood along with twenty other leaders of the party. Altaf Takur, on this occasion, said that we are living in a civilized society and have bonds of love and affection with others. When we donate blood to someone, it further strengthens the fabric of brotherhood, oneness and reflects concern towards the pain of others. He said that donating blood is very noble cause as it can save a precious life and hence each one of us should come forward to help the needy by donating blood.

On the occasion BJYM Gen Secy Bilal Ahmed Parray said that about 60% of the population is eligible to donate blood and if people voluntarily follow it, many more lives can be saved. “Feeling the joy of saving a human life is itself a great satisfaction”, Parray said and added that neither blood donor nor the blood injected into someone’s body differentiate on the basic of his or her faith but gives them new life.(PTK)
