BJP Leader Tarun Chugh Asserts India’s Sovereignty Over PoJK, Criticizes Opposition

BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh reaffirmed India’s stance on the sovereignty of every inch of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK). Chugh echoed the sentiments expressed by the country’s Defence Minister and Foreign Minister, emphasizing that their statements resonate with the collective voice of 1.4 billion Indians.

However, Chugh did not shy away from criticizing opposition figures, particularly the INDI alliance and Congress ally Farooq Abdullah, accusing them of echoing Pakistan’s narrative within India’s borders. He further alleged that the Gandhi-Nehru, Mufti, and Abdullah families have at times aligned themselves with the interests of China and Pakistan.

Chugh lauded Prime Minister Modi’s efforts in charting a new course for Jammu and Kashmir, contrasting the previous perception of the region as a hub of terrorism with its transformation into a burgeoning tourist destination under Modi’s leadership.

His remarks underscore the ongoing political discourse surrounding Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting the ideological divisions and contrasting visions for the region’s future. Chugh’s assertive stance reflects the BJP’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding India’s territorial integrity while challenging the opposition’s narrative on the issue.
