BJP Leader Mukhtar Ahmad Lone Takes Up Electricity Grievances with PDD Authorities

Kangan, Feb 15(PTK): Senior BJP leader Mukhtar Ahmad Lone on Saturday visited several areas of Kangan to listen to public grievances, with prolonged electricity disruptions emerging as a major concern among residents.

During his interaction with locals, residents apprised Lone of frequent power cuts and unscheduled outages that have been affecting daily life in the area. They urged immediate intervention to address the issue, particularly in view of the ongoing winter season.

Responding promptly, Lone on Sunday took up the matter with the Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of the Power Development Department, Kangan division. He impressed upon the concerned official the urgency of resolving the electricity crisis and ensuring a stable power supply to the affected localities.

Lone assured the residents that the issue has been formally raised with the department and that necessary steps will be taken to restore normal power supply at the earliest. He reiterated his commitment to addressing public concerns and facilitating swift redressal through coordination with the concerned authorities.

Residents expressed hope that the intervention would lead to an early resolution of the problem.(PTK)
