BJP launches Swachhta Abhiyan at Hazrat Rakun Din Shrine, reviews organizational activities in Pulwama

Pulwama, September 21(PTK): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary (Organization), J&K, Ashok Koul, initiated a Swachhta Abhiyan from the holy Shrine of Hazrat Rakun Din (RA), Ziyarat Rangmullah, Pulwama as a part of the ongoing Seva Pakhwada being observed across the Union Territory to mark the 75th birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

Ashok Koul was accompanied by General Secretary Anwar Khan, Secretary Mudasir Wani, District President Showkat Gayoor, senior leaders Javid Qadri, Sajad Rana, Lateef Bhat, Irshad Bhat, and the Pulwama district team.

Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Koul said that the Seva Pakhwada reflects the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has always emphasized that politics is not merely about power, but about service to the people. He said that on the occasion of the 75th birthday of our beloved Prime Minister, every activist must take a pledge to dedicate themselves to the welfare of society. Swachhata drives, medical camps, blood donation, plantation, and social awareness programmes are the need of the hour, as they directly touch the lives of common people, he said.

Anwar Khan highlighted that the Seva Pakhwada is a festival of service, through which BJP workers are connecting with the grassroots. By engaging in such programmes, we strengthen the bond between society and organization while working for a clean, healthy, and progressive Jammu & Kashmir, he stated.

Showkat Gayoor said that the Pulwama unit is committed to carrying forward the mission of the party by actively implementing service activities and strengthening organizational networks in the district. We are determined to reach every booth and every household with both service and message, he added.

Later, Ashok Koul chaired a detailed organizational review meeting at the district party office, Pulwama. The discussions focused on booth-level strengthening, capacity building of office bearers, and better coordination to ensure effective public outreach. He urged workers to maintain close contact with the people and act as true ambassadors of the party’s service-oriented approach. (PTK)
