BJP appoints Avinash Rai Khanna as in-charge for J&K Assembly polls

SRINAGAR, (PTK): Bharatiya Janata Party Vice President Avinash Rai Khanna will be the in-charge for the upcoming State Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

Talking to reporters in New Delhi today, BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh said, the decision was taken by the Party Core Group meeting on Jammu and Kashmir held at party headquarters in New Delhi yesterday.

He said, the leaders had detailed deliberations on Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Elections in the meeting. Mr Singh said, the party also decided to run a membership drive at booth level in the state.
