Barzulla hospital to be made functional within next 7-10 days:- Additional Chief Secretary

 

OPD services to resume in next two to three days:- officials

 

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar : The Jammu and Kashmir government on Saturday said that they are working to make OPD services functional at Bone and Joint hospital on priority basis while as hospital will be made functional in next one week to ten days.

 

Additional Chief Secretary Health and Medical Education Vivek Bhardwaj who on Saturday visited to Barzulla while talking to reporters said that last night in an unfortunate incident fire broke out in bone and joint hospital in which emergency operation theatre and third floor suffered damage, however, rest of the wards are safe.

 

He added that in next seven to ten days, hospital will be made functional again, however, government is working to make OPD functional before that.

 

He said that department is working as per the recomendations of fire and emergency department and we are not working independently and all the directions given by them have been implemented .

 

 

Top health officials said that inn 2-3 days, OPD at Bone and Joint Hospital Barzulla shall be made operational.

 

Efforts are on to make Emergency Operation Theatre also operational there in coming days, he said.

 

He added that assessment of the damage is also being done.:-PTK.
