Avalanches hit gurez villages, no damage reported Srinagar:- At least three avalanches on Friday hit the upper reaches of Wazirithal, Gujran and Neery villages of Tulail Tehsil of gurez valley in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district. An official said that three avalanches hit upper reaches of the villages of Wazirithal, Gujran and Neery villages, however, no fatalities or damage was reported for in the occurrences. He said that they are closely monitoring the activities in the avalanche prone areas of the district. He said that an advisory was already issued to locals of gurez valley not to venture out unnecessarily.
