Authorities re impose restrictions in Kupwara after surge in positive case
SRINAGAR JULY (PTK)Authorities have decided to re impose restrictions after surge in positive cases was reported in Kupwara
whereas, restrictions were imposed in the district in view of Covid -19 from 8June 2040 vIde this office order No. DCK/PS/2020/04/1241-47 Dated:- 07-06-2020;-
Whercas, the District has seen a sharp rise in the positive cases over the past few days and a tew cases have also been reported from the areas outside the containment Zones including town areas of Kupwara and Handwara –
Whereas,Addl Deputy Commissioner Handwara vide his No. ADDH/20/12818 Dated: I1-07-2020 has also recommended prohibitory measures in consultation with herefore in view of the above. and in exercise of powers conferred under Section. All the shops in the district including town areas of Kupwara, Handwara and Medieal Superintendent District Hospital Handwara to contain the spread of Virus 144 CRPC and Section 34 Disaster Management Act it is hereby ordered that:
Langate shall remain closed for a period of three days w.e.f 12 July to 14 July
The Rosters for opening of shops issued by this office and by the other Executive Magistrates tor their respective jurisdictions shall also remain
3. There shall be complete restrictions on nmovement of public transport including
within their respective jurisdictions to ensure universal Wearing of Masks
and penalising oftenders as per this office order No. DCK/PS/2020/04/1241-47
4. Concermed Tehsildars shall deploy Duty Magistrates at the prominent places
5. Superintendent of Police Kupwara/ Handwara shall deploy special Nakas and futy personal to restrict movement of any public transport and seize any unauthorized vehicles found plying in violation of this Order.
6. The restrictions imposed vide this officer Order No. DCK/PS/2020/04/1241-47
This order shall remain in force for a period of three days w.ef 6:00 Am on 12
Issued under my hand and seal today on 11-07-2020.
Dated:- 07-06-2020 shall remain in force through out the district except with minor modifications as enlisted above.
