Assessment camp for CWSN (Children with Special Needs) organised in Samba
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SAMBA, AUGUST 03: A district level Assessment Camp for children with Special needs(CWSN) aged 6- 18 yrs was held today here at Middle school Budhwani Samba.
The special camp was organised by Chief Education Officer Samba in collaboration with ALMICO.
A Team of Doctors from ALMICO, Kanpur, along with Medical Officer Dr. Sunil Dubey assessed the children in 4 different categories i.e Mental Retardation, Locomotor disability, Hearing Disability and Blindness. All the children with special needs would be provided with Aids and Appliances at the distribution cum fitment camp which shall be conducted after the assessment camp is complete.
Chief Education Officer, Jaswant Singh, Zonal Education Officer, Samba Pawan Slathia and District Coordinator IED, Lalit Kumar addressed the gathering, parents and children and educated them regarding inclusive Education.

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR RAMBAN, AUGUST 03: As per District Immunization Officer Ramban Dr. Suresh, the Health Department today administered covid vaccine doses to 190 persons in the district.
Continuing the enforcement drive to implement Covid protocol, the Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest CVC.
As per daily bulletin issued by the Chief Medical Officer, Ramban, the Health Department has collected 1021 samples including 265 RT-PCR and 756 RAT samples besides administering Covid vaccine to 190 persons at various dedicated Vaccination Centres in the district.
