Ashok Koul condemns attack on BJP leader’s residence in Nowgam*
*Terms killing of police cop unfortunate*
*Demands enhancement of security to prominent leaders of BJP in valley*
Srinagar, April 01 (PTK) Bhartiya Janata Party General Secretary (Organisation), Ashok Koul condemned the attack on prominent BJP leader in Nowgam and termed killing of police man as unfortunate.
He said those who attacked Anwar Khan residence and killed innocent cop will not be spared and urged administration and police to provide proper security for prominent leader of the BJP.
Although Khan, was not at his residence on Thursday when the militants carried out the attack.
While policeman Rameez Raja guarding him was killed in a action.
Koul while paying rich tributes to the slain police cop who was killed by militants. He also offered condolences with the bereaved family and stated that killing has pained the party.
“All BJP leaders of the country stand by the family in this difficult situation. Those who are responsible for the act should be neutralized,” he said.
Koul said militants are targeting party workers and innocent civilians but they did not that every person is ready to give sacrifice for this country.
He also demanded party workers should be given proper security, so that they will not become easy targets for anti national elements.
BJP Kashmir Media Incharge, Manzoor Bhat also prayed rich tributes to departed soul. Such incidents are unfortunate and it must be stopped, he said. (PTK)
