Ashai enjoins GOI to accept changed political realities in the sub-continent.

Demands release of all pro-Kashmir political leaders.

Srinagar, 29th August(PTK): Senior Awami Itehad Party leader Sheeban Ashai today reprimanded Modi lead GOI to course correct their Kashmir policy, wake up to the changed power dynamics and realities in sub-continent. He asked Modi regime to accept dictatorial, demoniacal manoeuvres of August 5 were a himalayan blunder that has pushed Indian state to the cusp of war and abjectly isolated India in international community. Modi lead GOI must understand that China has wilfully usurped and continues to occupy one thousand square kilometres of territory claimed by India as its own. With resurgence of Taliban in Afghanistan India is looking at a two front war, what present day dispensation needs to understand is that path for peaceful coexistence of India in subcontinent today goes through Kashmir and its high time Indian state damaged and destroyed by Sanghi leaders comes to terms with the fact that Kashmir has and will have to be resolved. Confining real political leaders of Kashmir behind bars and trying to muzzle voices of resistance would only facilitate extremism and push Kashmiris towards violent means of struggle. Ashai urged the people of India to understand mammoth threat to India’s sovereignty and territorial integrity in today’s changed geopolitical scenario. He said, “Modi is the modern day Slobadan Milosevic and we all remember from lessons of history what Milosevic did to Yugoslavia. We harbour no ill will against people of India but it’s a reality their successive regimes especially two political parties Congress and BJP lead Governments which embody Brahmin supremacy and rule of a handful have not only projected India as a land of 4% Brahmin elite but successfully suppressed common masses not only in Kashmir but in the Indian state as well. We are against bloodshed and loss of innocent lives but it seems Modi and his ilk want to sacrifice people of India for their reprehensible outlandish desires like Akhand Bharat which realistically in today’s time are a buffoons dream”. We reprimand present day Indian Government to immediately release all pro Kashmir leaders and activists; initiate an unconditional dialogue with Kashmiri leadership otherwise a bloodbath in the subcontinent is just a matter of time and the world would have Modi, Amit Shah and their hate brigade “RSS” to only blame for what follows. With August 5 Modi cemented our long standing political position that India as a country would never be accommodative of any sentiments of people of Jammu & Kashmir and a final and absolute resolution of the Kashmir dispute is the only way out for long lasting peace in the subcontinent, Ashai added.(PTK).
