Army soldier injured in encounter at J&K’s Tral, top Jaish commander trapped

SRINAGAR: One Soldier has been injured in an encounter that broke out on Saturday morning between security forces and Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militant in Jammu and Kashmir’s Tral.

The injured solider has now been rushed to a nearby Army hospital.

Three Jaish militantsa including top commander Qari Yasir are believed to be trapped at the site in the ongoing encounter. Another militant is suspected to be Burhan Sheikh, who was being trained to be a fidayeen.
