Army organises Zahanat 2021 program in Ganderbal

Presss Trust of Kashmir | Ganderbal As part of the ongoing efforts of Army to empower youth, a large scale talent search ‘Zahanat-2021, Ganderbal Got Talent’ was conducted by Army Camp Ganderbal under the aegis of Manasbal RR Sector on 17 Jul 21. The event was an endeavor by the Army to nurture and showcase the budding talent of Ganderbal youth.

An official said that as part of this mega event singing and dance competition was organised online with 140 participants forwarding their video clips. Top 10 entries in Singing and Dancing were selected for the grand finale at Qamaria Stadium in Ganderbal. The event was organised with all Covid 19 protocols.

He said that besides Senior Officers of Army, many civil administrative officers and local dignitaries were present on this occasion. Numerous UT departments and NGOs placed stalls in the fields of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Hospitality Management and Banking.

He further added that the youth event provided the much needed launch pad to the talented youth of Ganderbal. The highlights of the event were enthusiastic and spirited cultural program and Karate display by the youth of Ganderbal which was lauded by all.

He added that top singers and dancers were felicitated by the dignitaries present.(PTK).
