Army organises Blood donation camp in Ganderbal

Press Trust Of Kashmir Srinagar Nov 16:- Army on Wednesday organised a blood donation camp in Wussan area of Ganderbal.

An official said that to enhance the bond with locals and Army, Wussan battalion organised a Blood Donation Camp at Wussan Battalion Headquarter.

He said that the blood donation camp was organised with the assistance of SMHS Government Medical College, Srinagar. The camp witnessed a footfall of unit personnel including 6 Riflewomen and civilians. All of them donated blood with enthusiasm.

He added that the locals praised the Indian Army for organising the event. Such events increases the bonhomie between Indian Army and the local Awaam.

The importance of blood donation was reiterated to all the doners by the Hospital staff, he said.
