Army organises avalanche rescue conference in Ganderbal
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR NOV 17:- Army on Thursday organised an avalanche rescue conference in Wussan area of Ganderbal district.
An official said that conference regarding Avalanche Rescue operations was held at Wussan Battalion on 17 Nov 2022.
He said that representatives from NHIDCL, APCO, MEIL, Police, NDRF and BRO participated in the conference which was chaired by Commandant 34 Assam Rifles.
During the conference several scenarios and probable reactions were discussed. The conference was aimed at establishing synergy and cooperation between Army and participating agencies, he said
